The Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) will return from 18 August to 14 September 2025, with organiser NODWIN Gaming introducing the competition’s first women’s tournament and OnePlus extending its title sponsorship.

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, launched by KRAFTON following a ban imposed on the latter in the country in 2020 due to conflicts with publisher Tencent. Earlier this year, BGMI was integrated into the wider PUBG Mobile competitive circuit through the Esports World Cup, creating new opportunities for Indian teams to participate on a global stage.

The new Challengers Series will feature 24 all-female squads, with the top four advancing to the Playoffs stage to face teams from the Masters Series that do not qualify directly for the semi-finals. The remainder will be eliminated. This expansion brings the total number of participating teams across both tournaments to 48.

Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus will maintain its long-standing partnership and naming rights, with the event officially titled the OnePlus BGMI Masters Series 2025. Under the agreement, the company will supply OnePlus 13 smartphones for use in all matches.

Live coverage will be provided by broadcast partner Star Sports in Hindi, English, and regional languages, with simultaneous streaming on NODWIN Gaming’s YouTube channel.
