The Prêmio eSports Brasil (PeB), a major Latin American esports awards ceremony, has expanded its sponsor roster to six companies with the addition of three new partners. PlayStation, Brazilian e-commerce retailer KaBuM!, and audio brand JBL will join existing sponsors Betano, Petrobras, and Epic Games for the 2025 edition. The sponsors will each contribute specific activations during the event broadcast.
The event is organised by the Player1 Gaming Group, a company formed from the spin-off of Brazilian media conglomerate Globo‘s gaming division, and live marketing agency V3A. The ceremony is scheduled for 18 December in São Paulo.

Their inclusion follows the earlier partnership announcement with Petrobras, the state-controlled energy company, which signalled a notable alignment between a traditional national corporation and Brazil’s gaming sector.
Gustavo Freudenfeld, General Director of the Prêmio eSports Brasil, commented on the overall sponsor growth: “These are brands that understand gamer culture and share our purpose of celebrating the talents and strength of this ecosystem.”
This marks the first time PlayStation has sponsored the event, with plans for activations related to its 30th anniversary. KaBuM! returns as a sponsor, with its Head of Branding, Marcelo Fadul, noting the awards are “one of the stages to recognise the talent of the national gamer community.” JBL will also feature activations, with Anderson Oliveira, Marketing Director for Harman in South America, citing the event as an occasion to “celebrate the strengthening of the gamer scene.”
The 2025 Prêmio eSports Brasil will feature 29 categories. The ceremony will be broadcast on TV channel SporTV, YouTube, Kick, and Twitch.
