American insurance company Progressive Corporation has officially renewed its sponsorship of the Rocket League Championship Series for the entire 2026 season.
The official confirmation surfaced on the official Rocket League Esports X (Twitter) account stated, “Progressive is back as the Presenting Sponsor of RLCS for the whole 2026 season.” The companies have not shared new details about the extension, but the move confirms that Progressive plans to stay involved in Rocket League esports for another year.
The RLCS 2026 season, set to be hosted in Boston, will include a packed competitive calendar. In June and July, Rocket League will host online 1v1 and 2v2 Opens. From July to August, the best-performing regions across the season will hold online Last Chance Qualifiers. September 2026 will feature the RLCS World Championship, the biggest Rocket League tournament of the year.
Progressive began getting involved in esports around 2019 by sponsoring Super Smash Bros. events through Esports Arena. The insurance company then worked with Rocket League in 2024 when it sponsored the RLCS World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas. The prize pool for the event was more than 1.1 million US dollars.

In 2025, Progressive expanded its role by becoming the Presenting Sponsor for all RLCS events during the season. Its branding appeared digitally and physically across RLCS qualifiers, major tournaments, and the World Championship. Broadcasts also included Progressive logos and segments, along with more placements inside the game itself.
Progressive’s interest in esports isn’t limited to Rocket League. The insurer has been active in League of Legends through its partnership with the Immortals team. It first became the official insurance sponsor of Immortals in 2021, then expanded the partnership into a naming rights deal in 2022.
The team even competed under the name Immortals Progressive and worked with the company on livestreams, community events, and special jerseys.
