Red Bull India has officially announced a new partnership with Indian esports organisation Team Apex Gaming. The deal expands on an existing arrangement Red Bull already had with Jonathan Amaral, the organisation’s Founder, who is sponsored individually by Red Bull as a player.

Under the new deal, Red Bull will work with Team Apex Gaming across its competitive rosters in two mobile games, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Free Fire, as well as with the organisation’s group of gaming content creators.

This builds on past collaborations Red Bull has had with individual Team Apex Gaming personalities. Creator Shreeman Legend recently took part in a Red Bull karting event called MAX vs 100, competing against 100 other participants, while fellow creator Shakshi “Sharkshe” Shetty received a gaming room setup funded by Red Bull as part of an earlier partnership.

In a press release, Jonathan Amaral stated: “I’ve been a Red Bull Player for three years now, and some of my most memorable experiences have come through this partnership. As I begin a new chapter with Team Apex Gaming, it means a lot to have Red Bull supporting this journey. We’ve already created some incredible moments together, and I’m excited to take this partnership further, bringing even bigger and more memorable gaming experiences to fans across India.”

Red Bull has played a massive role in growing the Indian esports scene by sponsoring top players, hosting competitive tournaments, and partnering with major gaming organisations. Rather than simply sponsoring events, the brand focuses heavily on supporting individual gaming personalities.

A major milestone for the brand in the territory came when it signed a major partnership with Team GodLike, one of India’s biggest esports organisations. On the tournament front, the energy drink giant has also hosted several esports tournaments for India’s professional gaming scene. One such event was last year’s Red Bull Solo Legends, which was promoted as India’s biggest solo-format BGMI esports tournament.

Red Bull is a prominent sponsor of multiple esports organisations and gaming events around the world, supporting major names across various regions such as T1 in South Korea, G2 Esports in Europe, and FURIA in Brazil.
