Japanese esports organisation REJECT has announced the renewal of its partnership agreement with Rohto Pharmaceutical, the company known for eye care products. The two parties will continue working together during fiscal year 2026.
Under this renewed agreement, Rohto Pharmaceutical will continue working on a number of projects that align with esports and gaming culture. Specifically, the company will leverage the strong brand presence of REJECT’s players and streamers among fans to support promotional campaigns and event-related activities.
REJECT and Rohto Pharmaceutical began their partnership in 2023 and have since launched a variety of campaigns together. For example, the two companies collaborated on a sponsor-backed video featuring popular streamer Yuto Oe to help raise awareness of eye strain among gamers.

Shoya Koyama, Representative Director of REJECT, said, “Since signing the sponsorship agreement in 2023, we have worked with Rohto Pharmaceutical to develop various initiatives that are mindful of the fan community of games and esports. Furthermore, we are continuing to explore ways of communication that go beyond mere promotion and are naturally accepted by the community.”
A spokesperson from Rohto Pharmaceutical said, “The members of REJECT continue to take on challenges on the world stage, and their efforts have touched the hearts of many fans. It is with this desire to support their endeavors that we have extended our sponsorship agreement. Rohto Pharmaceutical, together with the athletes, staff, and supporters of REJECT, will support the excitement and passion that comes from taking on challenges, and together we will energize the hearts of as many people as possible.”
REJECT Esports has recently been expanding its commercial portfolio through a mix of partnership renewals and new sponsorships. Roughly a week ago, the organisation renewed its agreement with Yogibo, a company recognised for its beanbag sofas and relaxation products. At around the same time, it also secured a new sponsorship partnership with Japanese food and biotechnology company Ajinomoto Co., Inc.
