Hero Esports has entered into a partnership with Qualcomm‘s brand Snapdragon, expanding the technology company’s role as the exclusive official chipset partner for four of China’s premier mobile esports competitions. The collaboration aims to advance the future of mobile esports and build upon the record-breaking audience figures recently achieved by Hero Esports-organised events.

The partnership was formalised during an official signing ceremony attended by Hou Mingjuan, Vice President of Qualcomm, and Danny Tang, CEO and Co-Founder of Hero Esports. Under the terms of the agreement, Snapdragon will serve as the exclusive chipset partner for the King Pro League (KPL), Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL), CrossFire Mobile League (CFML), and QQ Speed League.

“This collaboration expands Snapdragon’s role as the exclusive official chipset partner for four of China’s premier mobile esports leagues,” Hero Esports stated in announcing the partnership.

The announcement follows a landmark year for Hero Esports, which saw the company organise the KPL 2025 Grand Finals at Beijing’s National Stadium, commonly known as the Bird’s Nest. The December event attracted 62,196 fans, setting a Guinness World Record for the ‘largest attendance at a single esports event’. Tickets sold out in 12 seconds, with over 85 per cent of attendees travelling from outside Beijing, including international visitors from Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Australia.

The economic impact of mobile esports events in China was evidenced by the KPL Grand Finals, which, according to Hero Esports, generated a 177 per cent year-on-year increase in restaurant sales across nearby commercial areas, while hotel bookings rose 143 per cent during the event period. China is currently home to an esports user base exceeding 495 million people.

The partnership with Qualcomm brings together the tournament organiser’s experience in managing large-scale mobile competitions with the chipset manufacturer’s hardware presence across Android gaming devices. The four leagues covered by the agreement represent some of the most-watched mobile esports properties in the Chinese market.
