South Korean live-streaming platform SOOP has extended its strategic partnership with BNK FEARX (BFX), a Korean esports organisation primarily known for itsLeague of Legends (LCK) team and FC Online roster.
According to the official announcement, the new deal is set to run through 2028. Under the renewed partnership, players from BFX’s BNK FEARX League of Legends team and BNK FEARX FC Online team will stream their personal broadcasts exclusively on SOOP. This means fans will only be able to watch these players’ individual streams on the platform.
The two sides will also work together to create more content. This includes joint content featuring professional players and streamers. On top of that, SOOP and BFX plan to organise offline events and fan activities. These events are meant to give fans more chances to meet players and interact with them directly.
The signing ceremony of this partnership was held at the DN Colosseum in Seoul which was attended by SOOP Co-CEO Choi Young-woo and Director Shin Hyun-seok. From BFX, CEO Kim Hae-chan and General Manager Yoo Hee-ji were present.
A SOOP official said, “Through this partnership, we will integrate professional esports players’ personal broadcasts, collaborative content, and offline events to create an environment where users can get closer to the players and interact with them more easily.”
When it comes to BNK FEARX (BFX)’s background, the esports team was previously known as FearX / Liiv SANDBOX / SBXG and it got rebranded under BNK Financial Group’s naming sponsorship. However, it’s currently owned by 4by4 Inc., a South Korean technology company specializing in AI-driven content media, with BNK Financial Group operating as the title sponsor.
SOOP, on the other hand, already has streaming deals with several entities in the esports industry, such as the five-year League of Legends Champions Korea partnership, content collaboration with LG Electronics and exclusive Korean broadcast partner for the 2026 season of the OWCS.
