The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has finalised its game roster for the 2026 event by adding the precision racing title Trackmania through a new multi-year partnership with Ubisoft Nadeo. The announcement confirms the full 24-title lineup for this summer’s Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and introduces a dedicated $500,000 prize pool for the Trackmania competition.
The addition of Trackmania completes the EWC 2026 roster and notably sees RENNSPORT, another racing title, removed from the lineup. RENNSPORT was the least-viewed title at the 2025 event, failing to reach 10,000 peak concurrent viewers despite a 65% year-on-year growth in that metric.
Trackmania’s inclusion brings a distinctly competitive format from RENNSPORT to the EWC. It will be centred on time-trial racing and round-based elimination without vehicle upgrades. The game’s integration is designed to connect its longstanding grassroots community with a global professional stage.
“Trackmania has always been one of gaming’s purest level playing fields: same car, same track, no RNG – it is all about precision, memory, and nerve,” said Fabian Scheuermann, Chief Games Officer at the Esports World Cup Foundation, in a press release. “Giving it a truly global esports stage with a world-class production and a significant prize pool is a watershed for a community that’s spent more than two decades shaving thousandths off community-built tracks.”

Florent Castelnerac, Ubisoft Nadeo Managing Director, added: “Being selected for the EWC, the world’s largest esports initiative, marks a major milestone for Trackmania. The game was conceived as the purest expression of solo competition, where players compete against the moment itself rather than direct opponents.”
The EWC 2026 Trackmania championship will feature 32 players. They will first compete in a group stage using a double-elimination format within four-player lobbies, with the top eight from each group advancing. Sixteen players will then progress to single-elimination playoffs to decide the champion. Qualification will include an open in-game qualifier, with eight spots secured via this route. Full details will be announced on 26 January.
The full EWC 2026 game list, in alphabetical order, is: Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Call of Duty: Warzone, Chess, Counter-Strike 2, Crossfire, Dota 2, EA FC 26, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, Fortnite, Free Fire, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Overwatch 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds, PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, Rainbow Six Siege, Teamfight Tactics, Trackmania, and VALORANT.
Another title from the 2025 edition absent this year is StarCraft II, which ranked as the event’s fifth least-viewed game. The overall roster remains at 24 titles as Fortnite was included.
Asked to comment on the move, the EWCF provided The Esports Radar with the following statement: “The Esports World Cup Foundation looks at three primary factors when considering game selection for the Esports World Cup: performance, including viewership and attendance; the game’s existing ecosystem; and publisher support. We continually evaluate if a game should be included or even brought back (e.g. Fortnite) into the Club Championship lineup.”
“In the racing game category, the decision was made to move forward with Trackmania for the next three years and we look forward to engaging with the game’s community this summer in Riyadh.”
