Ubisoft has announced that it is renewing its partnership with Xbox Game Pass for Rainbow Six Siege and BLAST R6 Esports for the 2026 and 2027 competitive seasons.
The two-year deal is being carried out together with esports tournament organiser BLAST. According to Ubisoft, the partnership will bring community events, in-game rewards and new esports experiences for Rainbow Six fans around the world.
The renewed partnership will officially begin during the BLAST R6 Salt Lake City Major in May. The event will also mark the return of the two-majors-per-year format for Rainbow Six esports. Xbox Game Pass branding and activations will appear at major Rainbow Six esports events during the 2026 and 2027 seasons. This includes the November Major in Japan and the Six Invitational 2026 world championship event in Brazil.
Ubisoft and Xbox Game Pass will also organise special community activities during major tournaments across the season. Fans attending selected BLAST R6 events will get chances to meet their favourite creators through meet-and-greet sessions and take part in exclusive giveaways.
In addition, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will start receiving in-game benefits for Rainbow Six Siege from June 2026 onwards. Ubisoft said more offers will be released throughout the year to celebrate important moments in the esports season.
François-Xavier Deniele, VP Marketing & Esports, R6 at Ubisoft, said, “We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with Xbox Game Pass to further elevate the global impact of Rainbow Six Siege and BLAST R6 esports. Building on the success of our previous collaboration, this renewed partnership allows us to continue delivering enhanced experiences and in-game benefits to our dedicated community of players and esports fans.”
Ubisoft also said more information about upcoming activations, events and in-game content will be announced during the 2026 Rainbow Six esports season.
Xbox Game Pass, Ubisoft, and BLAST first teamed up back in May 2025, when Xbox Game Pass came on board as an official partner for the 2025 Rainbow Six Siege X and BLAST R6 esports season. Since then, BLAST and Ubisoft have also renewed their partnership for Rainbow Six Siege esports, with the agreement now locked in through the 2028/29 season.
