UFC World Champion Khamzat Chimaev has officially joined UAE esports organisation Nigma Galaxy as a Brand Ambassador.
The stated primary goal of this partnership is to inspire young people through gaming, discipline and education. Nigma Galaxy also mentioned that Chimaev will work with the Nigma Galaxy Academy on motivational and educational projects.
These will include lessons on mindset, discipline and how to prepare for high-level competition. The Academy will also offer clear development paths for aspiring esports players, including mentorship, events and opportunities for standout talent to become future ambassadors.
For instance, Chimaev might explain what it feels like to play under pressure and how to handle nerves. If someone shows exceptional talent, they might be invited to represent the Academy in big events or even become a future ambassador.

Mohamed Morad, Co-Founder of Nigma Galaxy, said in an official statement, “This partnership symbolises the UAE’s pursuit of excellence. Khamzat embodies discipline, courage and determination, the same values that define Nigma Galaxy. Together, we are bridging the worlds of sport and esports to inspire young people with the belief that success comes through focus, teamwork and dedication.”
Khamzat Chimaev said, “I am proud to represent the UAE in everything I do. This country has supported me like family, and now I am fortunate to join Nigma Galaxy to inspire others. I have always been passionate about gaming and competition. The same mindset that drives me in the Octagon can help shape champions in esports too.”
Chimaev, who received UAE citizenship in January 2025, is the first fighter to represent the UAE and win a UFC title. Nigma Galaxy, on the other hand, is a professional Dota 2 esports organisation, was founded in 2019 by former Team Liquid members Mohamed Morad and Christoph Timm.
