Riot Games has announced the venues for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2025), offering a detailed look at where each stage of the tournament will unfold across China.

The competition will begin with the Play-In Stage at the Beijing Smart Esports Center, a purpose-built venue for top-tier esports events. This will be the venue’s first time hosting a League of Legends World Championship. The Swiss Stage will also be held in Beijing and feature 16 teams from around the world.

From 28 October to 2 November, the top eight teams will move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. Known for being among the first venues in the city to receive “A-level Esports Venue” certification, the arena will host the entirety of the single-elimination Knockout Stage, including quarterfinals and semifinals.

The Grand Final is set to take place on 9 November at Chengdu’s Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium. Regarded as one of Western China’s most modern sporting venues, it will serve as the stage where the 2025 World Champion will be decided.

Widely considered one of the most prominent esports tournaments globally, Worlds serves as the culmination of the League of Legends competitive season. The 2025 edition will feature a $5 million prize pool—more than double the amount awarded in 2024, which stood at $2.25 million. Ticketing details have yet to be announced.
