Vertiqal Studios has completed the acquisition of Luminosity Gaming, alongside Omnia Media and related direct sales assets, following Enthusiast Gaming’s divestment of the businesses. The transaction, valued at C$900,000 (approx. $648,000), closed on 30 August 2025.
The deal brings Luminosity’s Twitch presence and Omnia’s YouTube network under Vertiqal, expanding its reach across major social platforms, while adding programmatic inventory and creator-led marketing opportunities. The Esports Radar interviewed Jon Dwyer, Vertiqal’s CEO for a full picture of the company’s plans for the historic organisation.
For Enthusiast Gaming, the sale supports a shift towards its core digital properties, including U.GG, Icy-Veins, The Sims Resource, and PocketGamer. According to a press release, the move “is expected to result in approximately C$10 million ($7,25 million) of cost savings on an annual basis,” while Alex Macdonald, CEO of Enthusiast Gaming, stated it allows the company to focus on “executing [its] strategy and capitalising on the many core growth opportunities.”
