The BLAST Premier Open Rotterdam is scheduled to take place at the Ahoy Arena from 27–29 March 2026, bringing six of the world’s top Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams to a live audience in the Netherlands.
The tournament will feature a $1.1 million pool, including $400,000 in prize money and $700,000 in team payments. Twelve teams will receive direct invites based on global leaderboard rankings, with four additional teams qualifying through open tournaments.
The final three days will be held at Rotterdam’s Ahoy Arena, with the event broadcast in over 100 territories and more than 30 languages. In a press release, BLAST reported that its 2025 Open generated over 89 million views worldwide.
BLAST is partnering with local producer Friendly Fire for local promotion and event management. Rense van Kessel, Co-Founder of Friendly Fire, described the event as the country’s largest international esports tournament to date and noted its significance for the Dutch esports scene.
