The SNK World Championship 2025 (SWC 2025) will bring together top fighting game players from around the globe in a high-stakes competition with a combined prize pool of $4.1 million. The finals are set to take place at DreamHack Atlanta from 31 October to 2 November, following a series of qualifying events held in multiple regions worldwide.

Organised in partnership with ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and SNK Corporation, the championship will award $3.5 million of its prize pool live at DreamHack Atlanta.

Four SNK titles will be featured on the championship stage: Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, with a $2,500,000 prize pool; The King of Fighters XV, with a $1 million prize pool; Samurai Shodown, with a $500,000 prize pool; and Art of Fighting 3, with a $100,000 prize pool.

Qualifying tournaments are taking place internationally, with each sanctioned event awarding a single spot in the championship finals. Should a winner be unable to participate or already hold a qualifying slot, the invitation may be reassigned to the next eligible player or allocated to another event. A last-chance qualifier will also be held prior to the finals for remaining places.

The event’s largest share of the prize money will be contested in Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, marking one of the most lucrative prize offerings in fighting game history. The game recently delivered consistent audience figures when featured during the opening week of the Esports World Cup 2025.

Further details on qualifiers and ticketing for the event can be found at Dreamhack’s official website.
