The Esports Awards has officially announced that CTRL, a nutrition brand, will be an official partner of its 2026 ceremony.

As part of the deal, CTRL will present the Esports Content Group of the Year Award. The category recognises the creators and teams that transforms esports culture. CTRL replied to the announcement on X, saying it is ready to fuel the best creators in the game.

Few details of the arrangement, such as the terms of the deal, including its financial value and length, have not been disclosed. It is also unclear whether CTRL will receive branding promotion beyond its role presenting the Content Group of the Year Award.

In other words, there is no confirmation that its logo will appear on the broadcast, the stage, venue signage or digital overlays, or that it will have product placements or sampling rights. Companies that present an award typically receive on-screen recognition and a verbal mention during that segment of the show, but nothing beyond the announcement confirms what CTRL’s role will include.

The Esports Awards said in the announcement post, “We’re excited to welcome drinkCTRL as an official partner of the 2026 Esports Awards! Fueling the people behind the game, CTRL will be presenting the Esports Content Group of the Year Award, celebrating the creators and teams shaping esports culture.”

The 2026 Esports Awards ceremony takes place on November 17, 2026, at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Florida. The entire live event will also be broadcast across official streaming platforms like YouTube, X, Twitch, SOOP, and Rumble.

This Esports Awards agreement is not CTRL’s first partnership deal in esports. The company has worked with several organisations over the past several years, including FaZe Clan in 2020, Horizon Union and Team Delirium in 2022, and Luminosity Gaming in 2023, when it became that team’s official meal replacement and functional food partner.

CTRL, on the other hand, isn’t the only new name on the Esports Awards’ partner list. Ahead of its upcoming event, the organiser has also announced Thunderpick as Presenting Partner and Official iGaming Partner of the 2026 edition, alongside global content agency ADR+ (Adrenaline+), as an official Distribution Partner.
