EA SPORTS has confirmed two consecutive football esports events in Shanghai, with the FC Pro Champions Cup and FC Pro Mobile Festival set to take place from 9–14 September 2025 at the Jingwu Gymnasium in the Hongkou District. Together, the tournaments will award $365,000 in prize money.

The Champions Cup (9–12 September) marks the peak of the 2025 circuit for both EA FC Online and FC Mobile. Twelve FC Online teams, determined by ranking points and direct invitations from FC Pro Masters, will battle for a share of $300,000, with the Finals scheduled for 12 September. Meanwhile, FC Mobile will crown its Asia champion on 11 September, with six players competing for $60,000.

The following weekend, the FC Pro Mobile Festival (13–14 September) will bring together duos of professionals and content creators from multiple regions, including China, Korea, Southeast Asia, MENA, Brazil, Europe, and the USA. The ten invited teams will contest a $5,000 prize pool in round-robin and knockout play, alongside a programme of entertainment and an opening ceremony.

“After an impressive debut for FC Mobile and FC Online esports in 2024, we’re meeting that enthusiasm with two back-to-back events that continue to raise the stakes,” said Sam Turkbas, Senior Director, Esports Product, EA.

The Shanghai showcase follows the recent announcement of the FC Pro 26 Global Qualifier at DreamHack Atlanta, which will see ESL FACEIT Group host a 256-player competition with $152,000 in prize money.

Broadcasts of the Shanghai events will be available from 9 September in multiple languages, with the Mobile Festival also streaming on YouTube and a range of regional platforms.
