The Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise previously competing as Atlanta FaZe has announced its relocation to Las Vegas, Nevada, where it will operate under the new name FaZe Vegas starting with the 2026 season.

The move follows the recent departure of the Vegas Falcons, owned by Team Falcons and relocated to Riyadh earlier this month, leaving Las Vegas without a CDL franchise.

FaZe Clan has been part of the CDL since its launch in 2020, competing as Atlanta FaZe for the league’s first six seasons. The rebrand to Vegas FaZe marks the first location change in the franchise’s history.

Across the league, a broader pattern of rebrands and relocations has emerged, with ownership groups revisiting their league identities. These adjustments point to a period of restructuring within the CDL, as franchises reposition themselves in response to changing commercial and geographic priorities.

The Los Angeles Guerillas M8, owned by French organisation Gentle Mates, are expected to announce a rebrand in the coming days after removing the city reference from their official social media channels. Minnesota Rokkr rebrand to G2 Minnesota is another rebrand expected due to a recent trademark filing.
