OverActive Media and Bell Canada have announced a two-year extension of their founding partnership. The renewal will see Bell continue as the exclusive telecommunications sponsor for OverActive’s Canadian operations until September 2027, aiming to enhance fan engagement and support the organisation’s teams and venues.
The extended agreement continues a relationship that has been in place since OverActive’s inception. Under the renewed terms, Bell will maintain its exclusive category rights within Canada and retain its Founding Partner designation. This includes continued brand visibility across OverActive’s Canadian teams and platforms, as well as naming rights to the Bell Fibe Zone training facility at the company’s Toronto headquarters. Furthermore, Bell’s products and services will be integrated into OverActive’s Canadian facilities and fan experiences, while OverActive will continue to leverage Bell’s technology for its competitive and content operations.

Adam Adamou, Chief Executive Officer of OverActive Media, commented on the longevity of the collaboration, stating, “Bell has been with us since day one, and this extension reflects the strength of our partnership in Canada. Their support and technology have helped us elevate our competitive and content capabilities while expanding the reach of our fan experiences nationwide.”
David Kennedy, VP of Marketing Communications at Bell Canada, said, “Our partnership reflects Bell’s focus on providing the best fibre Internet and 5G wireless networks to Canadians, while offering the most exciting entertainment experiences. We look forward to creating even more ways for fans to engage with Toronto KOI and the broader OverActive community.”
OverActive Media’s portfolio includes major franchise operations across prominent esports leagues. In addition to the recently rebranded Call of Duty League team, Toronto KOI, the organisation also competes in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) under the Movistar KOI banner. However, Movistar KOI recently faced severe backlash after Riot Games revoked its VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) EMEA partner team spot.
