GodLike Esports and S8UL Esports have teamed up to form a brand-new lineup called NewGen Ninjas for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2025. The event will take place in Katowice, Poland, from November 7 to 9, and this unexpected alliance is all about keeping India in the game despite some serious travel hiccups.

Originally, both teams were supposed to send their own squads to Poland for the championship, but visa delays threw everything off. However, a few players from each roster had their paperwork sorted. So rather than giving up India’s hard-earned spot, the two orgs decided to join forces and send a combined team.

According to news outlet Sportskeeda, in the vision of Amar Chandgude, Co-Owner of GodLike Esports, there was a lack of support from game publisher Activision and tournament organiser ESL FACEIT Group, which resulted in “the club’s decision to exit from the scene” after the tournament.

“However, two players from GodLike Esports have acquired their visas. Another Indian organisation, S8UL, faced the same visa issues,” the report read.

Earlier this year, GodLike Esports became the winners of the COD Mobile World Championship 2025 India Stage 4 after defeating S8UL in the finals. The CODM World Championship 2025 will have 16 top teams from around the world competing for a massive prize pool of $850,000.

S8UL recently made headlines for its active participation as a partnered club with the Esports World Cup Foundation, while GodLike Esports grabbed attention by announcing a new partnership with OnePlus for its BGMI team.
