XBorg is officially teaming up with the esports giant Cloud9 to upgrade how the organisation connects with its fanbase.
Cloud9 has been in esports competition for over a decade, with championship teams across League of Legends, VALORANT, Rainbow Six and Call of Duty. XBorg comes in to tackle the challenge of talking to millions of people in a way that feels personal.
The company builds AI tools that help brands create custom experiences for their communities. Their platform, FanBase, turns everyday engagement into something interactive.

For example, instead of Cloud9 fans just watching a VALORANT match, FanBase might automatically give them a challenge like “Predict the first team to get 5 rounds.” If they get it right, they earn points, unlock exclusive Cloud9 content or get closer to redeeming rewards.
Cloud9 is now bringing FanBase into their own ecosystem by boosting their existing fan platform, Club9, with XBorg’s tech. Once everything is fully integrated, fans will start seeing more interactive features and recommendations. XBorg is also introducing an AI Copilot that watches Cloud9’s updates and automatically creates campaigns across all their channels, so fans get the right content at the right moment.
Jonathan Tran, Cloud9’s President, says the team has always tried to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to community, and this partnership lets them double down on that mission. In an official statement, Jonathan said, “At Cloud9, our community has always been at the heart of everything we do. Partnering with XBorg allows us to take that connection even further and empower Club9 to deliver more personalised, rewarding and interactive experiences to our fans.”
Alongside the new XBorg collaboration, Cloud9 also recently teamed up with JetBrains on an AI and software development partnership that makes JetBrains the official AI powered coding partner for Cloud9’s competitive teams and content projects.
