Disney+ has secured the exclusive global rights to stream the 2025 League of Legends KeSPA Cup. This is the first time a major international streaming service will be broadcasting this event. The deal was made through a new media partnership with the Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA).
The League of Legends KeSPA Cup is an annual off-season tournament held every December in South Korea. It serves as a warm-up event for LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea) teams before the new League of Legends season begins. The 2025 edition will run from December 6 to 14, lasting nine days with roughly 35 matches played both offline and online. The prize pool is ₩100,000,000 KRW (around $71,000 USD), with winnings distributed to the top four teams.
Fans could usually watch the 2025 League of Legends KeSPA Cup tournament for free on platforms like YouTube, but the 2025 edition will only be available to Disney+ subscribers. Disney+ will stream the KeSPA Cup live in 11 Asia Pacific regions, including South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and several Southeast Asian countries.

Broadcasts will be available in both Korean and English and fans will also get access to match replays, highlights, player interviews, team greetings and other special content.
The agreement, signed in September between Walt Disney Company Korea and KeSPA, also gives Disney+ rights to stream content related to Korea’s esports national team. This includes warm-up matches ahead of the 2026 Aichi Nagoya Asian Games, which will take place in Japan next September.
