The BetBoom RUSH B! Summit #1 will kickoff the 2026 Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) local competitive season in Brazil, organised by BTSBrasilTV. The LAN event, hosted at the producer’s studios in São Paulo from 14 to 18 January, features eight invited teams competing for a share of a $50,000 prize pool.

The tournament initiates the BEST (Brasil Esports Tour) circuit, which will see other four events in Brazil throughout 2026, and underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen the regional CS2 ecosystem.

The tournament’s title sponsor, BetBoom, is further deepening its investment in the Latin American Counter-Strike landscape through this partnership. Igor Savun, CMO of BetBoom Latam, commented: “We are working to expand opportunities for the Counter-Strike audience in Brazil. We recognise the strength of the game’s community in the country and seek to bring teams and fans ever closer, and the BetBoom RUSH B! Summit represents the ideal occasion for this.”

This event aligns with BetBoom’s broader strategy in the region. In December 2025, the betting company secured exclusive LATAM broadcast rights for BLAST tournaments starting in 2026. BetBoom is also an official sponsor of Brazilian organisation FURIA, indicating a concerted push to embed its brand within the Brazilian esports community.

The eight participating teams—Legacy, MIBR, Gaimin Gladiators, Imperial, Fake do Biru, Sharks, Keyd Stars, and GameHunters—were invited based on the latest Valve Regional Standings (VRS). The total prize money will be distributed among the top four finishers, with the winner claiming $30,000.

In a statement, Fábio Madia, CEO of BTSBrasilTV, highlighted the event’s significance for the producer’s evolution, stating: “The BetBoom RUSH B! Summit is a very special project for BTSBrasilTV. We were born within the esports scene and, after more than 10 years on the road, this tournament represents an important step in consolidating BTS as a producer of major events and in our commitment to continue strengthening Counter-Strike in the region.”
