Argentina-based organisation Leviatán announced its entry into the Rainbow Six Siege China League, marking a historic milestone as the first Latin American club to compete in the Chinese region.
To facilitate its transition into the market, Leviatán has confirmed a collaborative partnership with Attacking Soul Esports (ASE). According to official communications, the project will utilise a roster of local Chinese players supported by an international technical staff, aiming to blend regional talent with the organisation’s global competitive experience.
The move is part of the organisation’s a global expansion strategy, following Ubisoft’s official launch of the 10-team professional league in China.

The entry into the CN League represents a significant step for Leviatán, which has been vocal about its ambition to elevate the standard of the industry by bringing the Latin American identity to new territories.
By positioning itself in one of the world’s most competitive and rapidly growing regions, the club aims to contribute to the long-term growth of the Chinese Rainbow Six scene. The organisation noted that this expansion is not merely for short-term competition but is intended to be a foundational project designed to connect different gaming cultures through esports.
The partnership with Attacking Soul Esports is critical to this endeavour, providing Leviatán with the local expertise necessary to navigate the Chinese ecosystem. This move follows the broader trend of major Western and Latin American organisations seeking partnerships, such as with merchandise company Onwear, to tap into the massive viewership and commercial opportunities provided by the Chinese market.
Recently, Team Vitality launched an exclusive apparel line for the Chinese market, an activation designed to coincide with the Chinese New Year celebrations. The release was a success even beyond China and, to understand the strategies employed on it, The Esports Radar spoke with Amélie Canet, the organisation’s Strategy & Brand Development Director.
