Team Liquid has officially appointed Miah Campos as its new General Manager Brazil, filling the vacancy left by the recent departure of Rafael Queiroz.

Campos, who has served as the organisation’s Director of Sales & Partnerships in the region since March 2025, will now lead the strategic development of the brand within the Brazilian market. The internal promotion is intended to ensure operational continuity while leveraging Campos’s extensive background in commercial management, influencer marketing, and esports operations.

Campos brings nearly a decade of experience within the Brazilian esports ecosystem to the role. Prior to joining Team Liquid, she spent over three years at LOUD as Director of Talents & Partnerships, where she managed branding for high-profile creators and worked on partnerships with non-endemic brands such as Itaú, Samsung, and Netflix. Her career also includes a tenure as Director of Operations at LnK Gaming, where she managed the Brazilian Circuit of Counter-Strike (CBCS), and also a two-year period in paiN Gaming‘s marketing area.

According to the official announcement, Team Liquid selected Campos for her ability to integrate sales, marketing, and events into a collaborative leadership style.

The organisation stated (translated from Portuguese): “Miah is the person who unites all the values and characteristics necessary for great leadership. Her ability to integrate sales, marketing, events and a passion for our community reflects a strategic and collaborative management that we appreciate very much.”

Campos’s focus will remain on translating Team Liquid’s 25-year international legacy into the Brazilian market through connections with local partners who share the organisation’s vision for the gaming and digital entertainment industry.

The leadership change comes just one week after former General Manager Rafael Queiroz left the organisation to join the Evolution Championship Series (Evo) as its new Head of LATAM. Queiroz’s move to the Sony-owned fighting game circuit coincides with Evo’s planned global expansion into Brazil and Mexico for the 2027 season.
