Gaming peripherals brand SteelSeries has signed a multi-year extension of its official partnership with South Korean esports organisation T1 Entertainment & Sports (T1).
SteelSeries’ partnership with T1 originally began in 2021, at which point the organisation had already won three League of Legends World Championship titles (2013, 2015, and 2016). As part of the renewed agreement, SteelSeries will continue to provide gaming gear, including official headsets, to players across T1’s major esports teams including League of Legends and VALORANT.
The two companies will also work together on a range of projects to improve SteelSeries’ gaming products. These include product testing, marketing activities, digital events, esports tournaments, and brand activation campaigns during the term of the agreement.
A major focus of the partnership will be product development. T1’s professional players will take part in testing SteelSeries gaming gear and dedicated software while also contributing to feature improvements. The players will work as co-creators, providing feedback from the professional esports scene to help improve device quality and the overall gaming experience for players.

Jon Koob, SteelSeries’ Global Director of Esports, said, “We plan to support T1 in launching innovative, high-performance products and realizing their vision for the future of esports through our collaboration and exceptional creativity. As a global leader in the gaming gear industry, we take pride in creating a competitive future for gaming and look forward to celebrating continued success together both within and outside the esports sector.”
T1 CEO Joe Marsh said, “We have partnered with SteelSeries since 2021 and have shared the most successful period in T1’s history, including three consecutive LoL World Championships. I am proud of the achievements we have accomplished together and am very pleased to extend our partnership with SteelSeries. I look forward to various future collaborations.”
T1 has already had a huge year on the business side in 2026. Just last week, reports surfaced that the organisation had finalised a contract extension for CEO Joe Marsh, keeping him in the role through 2029. T1 also unveiled a new partnership with gaming hardware manufacturer ASUS to launch co-branded Nvidia GPUs. But the biggest development came when T1 revealed that it had posted an operating profit of $1.6 million in 2025, the first time in the organisation’s history that it has turned an operating profit.
