Global esports organisation Gen.G Esports has announced two new partnerships with NordVPN and Musinsa, focusing on digital security and fan merchandise.

On June 8, Gen.G said it had signed an official partnership with NordVPN and will work to help create a safe gaming culture for esports fans.

Through the partnership, Gen.G plans to use its global fanbase and content channels to help fans better understand the importance of digital security in their daily lives. The organisation will provide practical information and guides focused on online environments that gamers commonly use, including gaming, streaming, and community activities.

Gen.G said the goal is to help fans develop healthier digital habits. The company and NordVPN also plan to launch various content initiatives and promotions in the future to raise awareness about digital security and support a gamer-friendly digital culture.

Lee Seung-yong, Executive Director of Gen.G, said, “As esports fans and gamers spend more time online than anyone else, interest in digital security is crucial. Together with NordVPN, we will create an environment where fans can enjoy games and content more safely and contribute to spreading a healthy digital culture.”

Global Esports Industry Week (GEIW) will return in 2026 with a bigger and bolder edition, taking place across 18–21 June in Cologne, Germany, alongside IEM Cologne. The schedule and details about ticket sales are available in this link.

In a separate announcement, South Korea’s online fashion marketplace Musinsa has partnered with Gen.G Esports once again to launch the team’s 2026 Official Second Uniform Collection and beauty products. Musinsa said on June 8 that the collection will be launched exclusively through Musinsa Drop.

The collection is being released ahead of major international esports events, including the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and the Esports World Cup (EWC). The collection is based on Gen.G’s campaign message, “SHOW YOUR LIGHT.”

The product lineup includes jerseys and jackets. The company said the apparel uses ultra-lightweight and highly stretchable materials, along with a ventilation structure designed for summer sports conditions. Gen.G also mentioned that the 2026 2nd Official Player Uniform will be shipped sequentially starting from the first week of June.

These aren’t the only partnerships Gen.G has announced recently. The team extended its agreement with streaming platform SOOP in June 2026 to cover additional broadcast rights across multiple esports titles. A few months earlier, Gen.G teamed up with OTOKI, the global brand of South Korea’s Ottogi, in a multi-year deal that brought the brand onto team jerseys and into Gen.G’s digital content.
