Tokyo-based trading company ASK Corporation has signed a sales agency agreement with professional esports organisation Team Liquid.

Under the agreement, ASK Corporation will handle sales of Team Liquid’s player uniforms and various supporter goods in Japan, expanding its lineup to include both new items and products that were already available.

The company said that its primary objective is to make a broad range of Team Liquid merchandise accessible to fans across the country and that it intends to raise awareness of the Team Liquid brand in Japan while supporting the growth of esports there. Financial terms of the agreement, including how long it will run, have not been disclosed.

ASK Corporation describes itself as a general trading firm that sources and distributes products from manufacturers in the United States, Europe, Taiwan, South Korea, and elsewhere. The company holds Japan-market agency agreements with a number of overseas manufacturers, including Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), ASUSTeK Computer, ASRock, Corsair, Cooler Master, Micro-Star International (MSI), Nvidia, Thermaltake, and Zotac Technology.

The Team Liquid deal follows a series of similar agreements ASK Corporation has struck with esports organisations for the Japanese market. Earlier in 2026, the company signed sales agency agreements with Virtus.pro and Alliance, both covering player uniforms and supporter merchandise. The company also holds exclusive Japanese distribution agreement for the Fnatic Gear brand (gaming peripherals such as mice, keyboards, headsets, and mousepads, plus related apparel/accessories).

The ASK Corporation news is just one piece of a busy 2026 for Team Liquid. Last month, they partnered with sports memorabilia site MWS (MatchWornShirt) to auction off jerseys worn by players at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026. In March, they rebranded their Brazilian Rainbow Six Siege roster as Team Liquid Alienware, marking a bigger commercial shift for that side of the org.

March also brought two apparel collabs with Demon Slayer and Marvel Rivals and, in January, they moved 250 terabytes of legacy content onto Walrus, a decentralised storage protocol.

Team Liquid is not the only western organisation aiming for the Japanese esports market. G2 also tackled the country through its Japanese-first Webtoon comic Red Aura, while CEO Alban Dechelotte revealed in a recent interview with The Esports Radar that the organisation sees Japan as a strategic territory, tapping local fanbases through games like VALORANT. Team Vitality also moved towards that direction by signing Japanese fighting game player Shoji ‘Fenritti’ Sho and launching a Japanese-language X account.
