Danish esports organisation Astralis has announced a new strategic partnership with betting platform Stake.
The financial terms of the partnership weren’t publicly disclosed. As part of the deal, Astralis and Stake will work together on integrated activations, digital campaigns, and content to bring fans closer to the team’s players, performance culture, and competitive journey.
In simple terms, Stake pays Astralis to be associated with the team’s brand, players, and competitions. In return, Astralis promotes Stake across its channels and content.
One common part of the deal is brand visibility. This can include having the Stake logo on jerseys, social media posts, videos, and interview backdrops. It may also appear on the team’s website or in livestream overlays.
Another big part is digital campaigns and content. This often means creating videos, social media posts, and online activations together. For example, they might run match prediction campaigns, behind-the-scenes videos sponsored by Stake, or player interviews presented by the betting platform.

Jakob Lund Kristensen, co-founder/CRO at Astralis, said, “This is a strategically important partnership for Astralis and a strong validation of our position as a significant sports entertainment brand. Stake is entering the Danish market with global momentum, and doing so together with Astralis reflects the strength of our platform, our audience, and our long-term vision for esports as mainstream entertainment. We see significant opportunities to innovate, grow fan engagement, and help shape the next phase of our industry.”
Akhil Sarin, CMO of Easygo/Stake, also stated, “First and foremost—welcome to the family! We take immense pride in every partner within our portfolio, from global sports icons to the digital creators who define the internet era. Stake is a digital-native brand; we were born on the internet and we live for this culture. Tying our story to a legend of the game like Astralis is both a strategic milestone and a celebration of our newly activated Danish license. It’s a perfect match: global ambitions backed by strong local support.”
Stake teaming up with Astralis isn’t their first move into esports. Team Vitality last year announced a multi-year global partnership with betting platform Stake. And now Stake is also working with StarLadder to roll out a fresh CS2 LAN tournament series called Stake Ranked.
