ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has partnered with North American esports platform PlayVS to provide high-performance gaming hardware for the 2025–26 PlayVS College League (PCL).

ROG will supply desktops including the ROG G700 and ROG GM700 for mainstage and practice setups. The collaboration will debut at the inaugural PCL Fall Championships on 13–14 December 2025 at The University of Akron, with matches streamed on Twitch.

“Partnering with PlayVS and the PCL allows us to empower the next generation of esports athletes with the hardware and experiences they need,” said Benjamin Yeh, President of ASUS Computer International, in a press release.

PlayVS CEO Jon Chapman added that the partnership provides student-athletes with “the most advanced gaming technology available, creating unforgettable live experiences for competitors and fans alike.”

The initiative also emphasises educational benefits, with esports participation supporting teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, and potential career pathways in STEM, game design, and content creation.
