BetBoom has signed a three-year deal with tournament organiser PGL for the exclusive Brazilian broadcast rights to its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) events, including the Singapore Major 2026.
The agreement grants the betting company control over the dissemination of all PGL CS2 tournament footage within Brazil, marking a significant and rapid expansion of its broadcast rights portfolio in the region, following a deal for BLAST tournaments in December 2025.
The partnership between BetBoom and PGL covers at least five tournaments per year, commencing with a full 2026 schedule that includes the PGL Major Singapore 2026. This move continues BetBoom’s move for securing exclusive Portuguese-language rights to major CS2 circuits, effectively making it a primary broadcast gatekeeper for the Brazilian audience.

The deal emerges amidst an ongoing industry debate in Brazil regarding major tournament broadcast rights and draws direct parallels with BetBoom’s previous rights acquisition, when it became the exclusive LATAM rights holder for all BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam tournaments from 2026. Streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Borba, once dominant in streaming the main events of the Counter-Strike 2 competitive calendar, now casts tournaments alongside with channels such as MadHouse TV.
Notably, BetBoom is a sponsor of esports organisation FURIA, which operates the MadHouse TV streaming channel, potentially offering at least one route for coverage under these new agreements. However, the streaming of the BLAST Bounty 2026 S1, currently being held on both channels, MadHouse and Gaules, plus on BetBoom’s own channels, indicating that the company will negotiate terms with multiple interested outlets.
Andrei Hurmuzache, Head of Media Partnerships at PGL, stated: “We are excited to establish this partnership with BetBoom for the next three years to bring PGL’s Counter-Strike 2 tournaments to the Brazilian public. Brazil is one of the most passionate CS2 communities in the world, and this agreement reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality broadcasts.”
Igor Savun, CMO of BetBoom Latam, commented: “With another broadcast agreement, we seek to bring even more quality and broadcast options to the Brazilian public. We believe in the potential of this market, which is so passionate and engaged.”
The company’s regional strategy also includes sponsoring the BetBoom RUSH B! Summit LAN event and having the Brazilian esports superstar Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo as its ambassador.
