The Esports Foundation (EF) has announced OBSBOT as its Official Camera and Webcam Partner to intergrate company’s AI-powered imaging technology into the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 when it arrives in Paris this summer.
As part of the deal, more than 500 OBSBOT cameras will be deployed across all four competition stages and the Fan Fest. The cameras will support tournament broadcasts, creator productions, player interviews, coach and trainer footage, and live event coverage. They will also be used for interactive demonstrations and creator-focused activities during the festival. The same OBSBOT cameras being used during EWC 2026 are commercially available to streamers, content creators and esports clubs, enabling them to use the same professional-grade technology.
Tournament organisers said they want to enhance the quality of content produced throughout the event, allowing fans around the world to experience the competition through high-quality broadcasts and behind-the-scenes coverage.
Mohammad Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports Foundation, said, “Fans don’t just want to watch the action, they want to experience the emotion, intensity and personality that define every match. From the focus before the game begins to the reactions that follow every pivotal moment, OBSBOT helps us capture those authentic player moments and bring millions of fans closer to the competition through a richer, more immersive viewing experience.”
Liu Bo, CEO of OBSBOT, said, “We are thrilled to return as an EWC partner for a second consecutive year. Esports has become one of the world’s most dynamic stages for live entertainment, where speed, precision, and creativity come together to shape how global audiences experience competition. At OBSBOT, we believe the future of live storytelling will be driven by intelligent imaging technologies that give creators and production teams greater freedom to capture every defining moment.”
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two organisations. OBSBOT previously served as the Official Livestream Camera and Webcam Partner for the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Beyond the tournament, OBSBOT has also partnered with several leading esports organisations such as NRG and Alliance to improve content creation and team coverage.
These include NRG, where it became the official camera partner for the team’s VALORANT roster; Alliance, providing equipment for exclusive player point-of-view and backstage content across tournaments; and Wildcard Gaming, serving as the team’s official camera and webcam partner to document its competitive journey.
