The Interstate Scholastic Esports Alliance (ISEA) has announced a new partnership with global audiovisual (AV) technology brand Extron.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to help schools design and build state-of-the-art esports labs, along with providing K–12 institutions (from kindergarten through 12th grade) with the technology, resources, and expertise needed to create sustainable and high-impact esports programs.

Danielle Johnson, President of ISEA, said in an official statement, “The growth of scholastic esports is moving at a substantial pace and many state athletic associations are now sanctioning esports as an official sport or activity. While many schools are making investments in labs and spaces for their esports teams, others do not know where to start. ISEA’s partnership with Extron will help provide our schools with the equipment and resources they need to build a robust esports space for both competitors to play and for students to build vocational skills such as streaming and broadcasting.”
It’s no secret that more schools across the United States are joining the growing world of scholastic esports. They’re creating spaces where students can learn teamwork, communication, and media skills. In fact, the ISEA and Extron partnership is just one example of how schools are teaming up with private companies to scale up their esports programs.
Most recently, we’ve seen similar moves like PlayVS partnering with Palmer Hamilton Esports to create ready-to-go esports facilities, and Gen.G teaming up with thirteen U.S. universities for an esports study program in Seoul.
These partnerships underscore how quickly esports is becoming a bridge between classroom learning and career development.
