Cryptocurrency trading platform Flipster has announced an expansion of its partnership with TALON, becoming the Official Crypto Exchange Partner for the team’s League of Legends division, PSG TALON, ahead of the upcoming competitive season.

The announcement builds on a previous collaboration between Flipster and TALON, which began in May 2025 with the organisation’s Dota 2 team. This development also marks Flipster’s entry into one of the most-watched esports titles globally.

The partnership aims to foster engagement between the crypto and esports communities through a variety of initiatives. Planned activations include both virtual and in-person meet-and-greets with players, one-on-one video calls, watch parties during major tournaments, and limited-edition collectible cards featuring game-worn items.

According to Flipster’s Head of Product and Partnerships, Youngsun Shin, the collaboration is driven by a shared ethos. “PSG TALON has always played with heart. They’re adventurous, bold, and unafraid to challenge expectations,” said Shin. “That fearless mindset resonates with us deeply. In crypto, as in esports, it takes grit to go against the grain and build something new.”

Sean Zhang, CEO of  Talon, added: “They bring fresh perspective and genuine care for the fan experience. Together, we’re creating something different, and PSG Talon fans will be the first to feel it.”

Valentin Weller, Head of PSG Esports at Paris Saint-Germain, highlighted the broader ambition of the partnership: “Together, we share a common ambition: to push the boundaries between technology, competition, and fan experience.”

Riot Games authorises partnership deals of teams involved in its competitive systems with crypto services since 2021. Recently, the company itself announced a partnership with Coinbase.
