GodLike Esports and technology brand OnePlus have announced a new partnership in Indian esports. The collaboration designates OnePlus as the exclusive smartphone partner for GodLike Esports’ Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) team.
As part of the agreement, the GodLike BGMI roster will compete using OnePlus devices. The partnership also extends to star player Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral, who has been appointed as a key gaming endorser for OnePlus. The 23-year-old has been competing professionally since 2019 and boasts a social media following of over 10 million. He will provide direct product feedback to help optimise OnePlus devices for gaming.
The collaboration is stated to go beyond tournament support, with plans to create exclusive content, community events, and fan engagement initiatives.

This partnership is all about creating new possibilities, inspiring mobile gamers, and bringing our communities closer through the spirit of gaming on OnePlus.”
Chetan “Kronten” Chandgude, Founder of GodLike Esports, said, “We are beyond thrilled to partner with OnePlus, a brand that shares our core values of innovation and performance. This is a game-changer for our team and the Indian esports ecosystem as a whole. Having our players, and especially our superstar Jonathan, equipped with the best mobile gaming technology will undoubtedly elevate their gameplay.”
Jonathan Amaral also addressed the collaboration, saying, “Our new special collaboration with OnePlus is a massive honour for me. My entire career has been about striving for perfection and pushing my limits, which also is very in tune with the ‘Never Settle’ spirit of the brand. To have a brand like OnePlus recognize that and give me the tools to continue my journey is incredible.”
The GodLike BGMI team is currently competing in the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2025, a tournament whose winner will earn a chance to represent the region in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC). OnePlus is a brand already present in the BGMI scene, having also sponsored the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) this year.
