For the first time, India will host the Grand Finals of the Acer‘s Asia Pacific Predator League, scheduled to take place from 8 to 12 January 2026. The event will bring together over 15 elite teams from across the Asia Pacific region to compete in Dota 2 and VALORANT.

Contesting a total prize pool of $220,000, the victorious teams in each category will receive $65,000, while runners-up will take home $20,000. Teams finishing third and fourth are set to earn $7,500 each. Since its debut in 2018, the Predator League has aimed to be a platform showcasing emerging talent in the Asia Pacific esports scene.

India’s selection as host comes at a pivotal time when the country is gaining significant recognition on the global esports stage. Both the Esports World Cup and esports production company BLAST have announced initiatives in the country.

In the official announcement, Harish Kohli, President and Managing Director of Acer India, commented on this moment: “This event is a testament to India’s growing presence in the global esports landscape and represents our commitment to empowering gamers across the region. We look forward to delivering a world-class tournament experience that the community will never forget.”

Joining Acer, esports social platform Planet9 and Intel also appear as partners of the event.
