Phygital International, the organisation that runs the Games of the Future, has announced two new partners for this year’s event: gaming hardware company Logitech G and audio equipment maker Sven.

The Games of the Future is a competition built around “phygital sport”, a format that combines physical activity with esports, so athletes compete in both a digital version of a game and a physical version of a given activity. The 2026 edition, running from 29 July to 9 August, offers more than $4 million in prize money.

As part of the latest deal, Logitech G will supply equipment as prizes for athletes who perform well during the Games, meaning top competitors and standout players (MVPs, or “most valuable players”) across the event will receive Logitech G products as part of this recognition.

Sven, on the other hand, will supply sound systems used throughout the event. This covers the experience for athletes, event officials and spectators attending the Games.

These two companies join a growing list of partners backing the event. Earlier this year, Alibaba Cloud was named the event’s official cloud technology partner, alongside a host of Kazakhstan’s leading financial and infrastructure companies.

The new partnerships also follow some changes in how the phygital sport movement is run. A few weeks ago, Dan Merkley, a veteran from multiple Olympic Games’ Organising Committees, was named Chief Executive Officer of Phygital International. At the same time, David Feng, former Head of Olympic Hospitality, Protocol, and Stakeholder Service at the International Olympic Committee (IOC), was appointed Interim Chairman of the World Phygital Community, the organisation that oversees phygital sport as a whole.
