South Korean esports organisation Dplus KIA has renewed its partnership with gaming hardware brand Logitech G for an eighth consecutive year, extending what is now one of the longest-running sponsor relationship for any team in the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea). The renewal aims to ensure players are equipped with high-performance gear while also developing exclusive content and events to deepen fan connections.
Under the renewed deal, Logitech G will continue to supply Dplus KIA’s roster with its gaming peripherals. The organisation stated the partnership is built on established trust and will allow players to “deliver their best performance.” Beyond equipment, both parties plan to expand “points of connection with fans” through co-created esports content and fan events.

The renewal aligns with Logitech G’s broader strategy of investing in performance research within esports. In 2025, the company committed €2.5 million to a four-year research programme with the University of Limerick’s Lero centre, studying elite player performance, training methods, and long-term health. That initiative, led by Professor Mark Campbell and Dr Adam Toth, involves direct collaboration with professional players to inform future product design.
Such investments highlight how hardware manufacturers are increasingly leveraging scientific research and professional competitor insights to drive innovation. This trend is evident across the industry, with other brands like ZOWIE also establishing dedicated performance labs.
For Logitech G, the work with academic institutions and long-term team partnerships forms a core part of its “designed with pros” product development framework.
