Method has inked two new collaborations, first with the digital game store Instant Gaming and second with NetEase Games’ MMORPG Sword of Justice. The announcements, made this week, point to a concerted effort by the organisation to capitalise on its history as a World of Warcraft team. The Instant Gaming deal will support content initiatives, while the Sword of Justice collaboration marks a direct entry into the new game.

The partnership with Instant Gaming is centred on community-driven content. It will facilitate the return of Method’s “Best of Method” YouTube highlight series and provide the organisation’s creators with access to a wider library of games. The separate collaboration with Sword of Justice will see Method engage with the newly released free-to-play MMORPG.

Regarding the Instant Gaming alliance, Klaudia Skrzynska, Senior Partner and Affiliate Manager at Instant Gaming, highlighted the shared community focus. “Method’s community is at the core of what makes them special, and that’s what drew us to this partnership,” Skrzynska said. “We share the same focus on delivering real value to players – helping gamers access more games with a strong value proposal.”

Liam Whitehead, Head of Partnerships at Method, explained the strategic thinking behind the Instant Gaming deal. “Method’s community is at the heart of everything we do. With World of Warcraft’s seasonal cycles, teaming up with Instant Gaming was an easy decision,” Whitehead stated.

This expansion aligns with recent movements within the specialised MMORPG esports sector. Just last week, leading organisations Team Liquid and Echo Esports also revealed their own collaborations with Sword of Justice as part of the game’s promotion efforts.
