MOONTON Games appointed the Singapore-based agency Redd+E as the authorised reseller of broadcast rights for all its Southeast Asian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) territories and the upcoming M7 World Championship. The partnership aims to create a scalable broadcast framework that mirrors models found in traditional sports.
The deal grants Redd+E the rights to manage and sell broadcast packages for the MPL leagues in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore, as well as for the flagship M7 World Championship scheduled for January 2026. This marks the first time MOONTON has engaged a third-party partner for such a comprehensive broadcast rights role.

Yip Ren Kai, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Redd+E, commented on the commercial evolution this represents, stating: “This partnership takes a significant step towards unlocking additional revenue streams for esports IP owners. We’re excited to help lead that evolution together with MOONTON Games… By connecting MLBB with broadcasters and media partners across Southeast Asia, we are driving new commercial pathways that will enhance sustainability, audience growth, and long-term value for the entire ecosystem.”
The partnership was officially unveiled during a press conference held at the MPL Malaysia Season 16 Playoffs. The move comes as MLBB Esports continues to demonstrate significant viewership, having amassed 475 million hours watched in 2024 according to Esports Charts. This data places it among the most-watched esports properties globally, providing a substantial foundation for a formalised broadcast rights model.
Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships, MLBB Esports, at MOONTON Games, said: “Working with Redd+E allows us to create a stronger, more sustainable broadcast ecosystem—one that delivers commercial value to our media partners while ensuring our millions of fans around the world can experience the thrill of MLBB Esports at the highest production standards.”
Looking forward, MOONTON Games sees this partnership as a blueprint for potential expansion. With over 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users worldwide, the company has indicated intentions to scale this broadcast framework into other regions with thriving MLBB communities, such as the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America.
