Oddin.gg, an esports betting infrastructure provider, has announced its acquisition of the Danish esports data company GameScorekeeper. The move is designed to strengthen Oddin.gg’s foundational data assets and support its long-term objective of delivering consistent, high-quality solutions to its partners in the esports betting landscape.
This transaction occurs as the esports data sector shows signs of consolidation, with major players seeking to expand their capabilities through strategic acquisitions. No financial details were unveiled.
The acquisition sees GameScorekeeper, which specialises in supplying structured game, team, and player information at scale, integrated into the Oddin.gg ecosystem. GameScorekeeper contributes a deep archive of standardised historical data from over ten major esports titles. This complements Oddin.gg’s existing focus on real-time predictive models, trading operations, and managed betting services. According to a press release, the unified entity aims to offer a more comprehensive data pipeline and an integrated workflow, from data ingestion and normalisation to analytics and odds creation.
This deal follows another major move in the market. Two months earlier, rival data firm GRID acquired the technology assets of Bayes Esports, which entered insolvency proceedings in August. That acquisition also saw key contracts, including those with Riot Games, the Esports World Cup Foundation, and ESL FACEIT Group, transition from Bayes to GRID. These consecutive acquisitions signal a trend where established companies are consolidating assets to offer more complete solutions.

Vlasta Venclik, Co-Founder and CEO of Oddin.gg, stated: “Esports is entering a new phase where reliability, accuracy, and true expertise matter more than ever. GameScorekeeper has built an outstanding reputation for high-quality data, and their founder mindset aligns perfectly with ours. This acquisition allows us to deliver even more powerful and unified data products to our partners.”
Felix Klastrup, Founder of GameScorekeeper, added: “Since 2016, our mission has been to make esports data accessible and actionable for businesses. Joining forces with Oddin.gg means we bring our depth of data, widgets and domain experience to a partner with global infrastructure and ambition.”
GameScorekeeper’s existing client base, which includes industry players such as PrizePicks and DraftKings, will continue to be supported.
