More than ten esports tournaments drew over 1 million peak viewers in the second quarter of 2025, according to audience data from Esports Charts.

The figures reflect a continued upward trend in competitive gaming viewership, in line with patterns highlighted in Stream Hatchet quarterly report also covered by The Esports Radar.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) from MOONTON Games led the quarter, with several competitions ranking among the five most-watched events. MPL Indonesia Season 15 topped the list with 4,132,224 peak viewers, followed by ESL’s Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters, which attracted 2,769,107 viewers. MPL Philippines Season 15 also featured strongly, recording 1,802,089 peak viewers.

Riot GamesLeague of Legends maintained a significant presence, with the South Korean league LCK 2025 drawing 1,965,776 viewers to secure second place overall. In the FPS category, Counter-Strike 2 outperformed its closest rival VALORANT, with the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 bringing in 1,789,313 peak viewers.

MLBB’s dominance was also clear in the top matches list, which was entirely comprised of MPL Indonesia fixtures featuring teams such as ONIC Esports, Team RRQ, NAVI and EVOS Esports.

The data underscores the strong audience appeal of both mobile and PC esports, highlighting especially Asia’s strength in attracting large-scale audiences.
