The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has added the betting operator Stake to its Anti-Corruption Supporter program.
This marks the second such partnership ESIC has announced in the last weeks, following the appointment of Rollbit in a similar capacity. The collaborations form part of ESIC’s ongoing strategy to address integrity challenges within global esports, specifically those related to betting markets.
Through the Anti-Corruption Supporter program, betting operators like Stake contribute data and resources to aid in the detection and investigation of suspicious betting activity. According to a press release, the program relies on data sharing and operational cooperation between ESIC and its partners to monitor for potential match-fixing and other integrity breaches.

Stephen Hanna, CEO of ESIC, stated: “The addition of Stake to ESIC’s Anti-Corruption Supporter network reinforces the sentiment that integrity is a shared responsibility. ESIC’s Anti-Corruption Supporter program relies on the active collaboration of partners like Stake, whose operational insights contribute directly to our ability to identify and mitigate integrity threats.”
Jarrod Febbraio, Director of Stake, commented: “This partnership formalizes Stake’s commitment to protecting integrity and transparency across the global esports ecosystem. As the world’s leading online-first betting operator, supporting the industry is central to our strategy and our scale makes this collaboration with ESIC essential to safeguarding its integrity.”
The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) is the industry body tasked with investigating and prosecuting cheating and malpractice in esports. Stake is an online casino and sportsbook that holds sponsorships with notable organisations such as Team Vitality. The brand is also the primary owner and backer of the live video streaming service Kick.
