Team Liquid and UNICEF have announced a collaboration to introduce a UNICEF-branded esports kit into EA SPORTS FC 26. The digital kit will be available globally from 3rd December 2025. The partnership aims to utilise the game’s audience to increase awareness for UNICEF’s work concerning children’s rights and education.

The initiative represents the first appearance of UNICEF branding on a competitive esports kit within the EA SPORTS FC series. Every player of the game’s Ultimate Team mode will be able to acquire the kit for free by completing an in-game objective. Team Liquid’s competitive EA FC roster will also use the kit during official matches.

In a statement, Team Liquid Founder and Co-CEO Victor Goossens said, “Many great football clubs have dedicated their kits in support of UNICEF, and it’s an honour to join their ranks in a way’s authentic to esports and gaming. By making this digital item easily accessible to millions of players worldwide, we hope that EA FC fans will join us in raising awareness for UNICEF’s causes.”

The in-game activation follows previous joint activities between the two organisations, which have included charity fundraising streams. A recent livestream featured UNICEF Ambassador and Dutch football player Xavi Simons. The collaboration follows a strategic expansion of Team Liquid’s presence in football esports, which included the acquisition of the Dutch EA FC academy Team Gullit seven months ago.
