The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) has announced new commercial partnerships for the 2025 Summer Split, introducing ExpressVPN, AMD, and the City of Madrid to its list of supporters. These additions arrive as the tournament approaches its final stages, culminating in the Summer Finals set to take place in Madrid this September.

ExpressVPN joins the LEC as a new digital privacy partner, offering fans free trials and in-game rewards for those who sign up through a dedicated promotion. According to the official announcement, the collaboration aims to promote online safety while integrating added value for the League of Legends community.

AMD has also entered the fold as an Official Supplier for the Summer Split. The chipmaker is providing high-performance gaming PCs to support both on-site and remote broadcast production. This follows AMD’s involvement in LEC Roadtrip events in Paris and Madrid earlier this year, where its technology was used to power fan experiences and stage content.

Meanwhile, the City of Madrid has been confirmed as a key partner for the 2025 Summer Finals, scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 September at the Caja Mágica arena. The LEC previously held a Roadtrip event in Madrid in collaboration with Movistar KOI, which drew over 10,000 attendees. Organisers cited the enthusiastic turnout and the city’s established ties with the local esports community as factors in selecting Madrid as host for the Finals.

These new partnerships join the LEC’s existing roster of commercial supporters, including Kia, KitKat, LG UltraGear, Marriott Bonvoy, Secretlab, and Red Bull. According to the LEC, such collaborations play a key role in enhancing the overall experience for fans and players alike.
