StarLadder has issued a final call for commercial partners for its upcoming Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major Budapest, with a limited number of sponsorship slots reportedly still available for the late-2025 event.
According to a recent LinkedIn post from StarLadder’s Сhief Strategic Partnerships Officer Andrew Yatsenko, while most sponsorship slots are “already locked in, a few sweet spots are still up for grabs.” The remaining opportunities are targeted at brands, agencies, or services seeking either a physical presence at the venue or integration into the tournament’s global broadcast.
The tournament organiser, which last hosted a Major in Berlin in 2019, announced the Budapest event five months earlier. The StarLadder Budapest Major is scheduled to run from November 24th to December 14th, 2025, and will be the second CS2 Major to feature an expanded 32-team format competing for a $1.25m prize pool. All stages of the competition will be played in front of a live audience.
The final playoff stage of the Major, from December 11th to 14th, will be held at the MVM Dome, a 20,000-seat arena. Sponsors are being offered the chance to secure “a booth or on-site activation” at this venue. Additionally, partners are being offered integration into broadcasts that are expected to amass a viewership in excess of 100 million.
The initial stages of the tournament will take place at the smaller MTK Sportpark, which has a capacity for 2,000 spectators, from November 24th through December 7th. Tickets for all stages are already on sale, with prices ranging from €10 to €30 for the early phases and from €80 to €370 for the playoff series at the MVM Dome.
