The Pokémon Company and Skyesports have unveiled the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League (PUACL) 2026 India League, an online tournament to determine India’s representative for the international finals in Japan. The announcement confirms the return of the official competitive circuit for the title in the region, providing a structured pathway for Indian teams to reach the Asian stage.

The India League will feature ten invited esports organisations competing for a $20,000 prize pool. The tournament format consists of a Group Stage, played across five match days between November 2025 and January 2026, followed by a King of the Hill Playoffs on 31 January 2026. The winning team will secure a place at the PUACL 2026 Offline Finals, scheduled to be held at the Yokohama Buntai Arena in Japan.

Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports, said: “The return of the Asia Champions League gives our teams another platform to show what they are capable of. We are proud to execute the India League once again and to provide a clear path for Indian players to compete at the highest level in Asia.”

The competition follows the previous season where Team GodLike won the Indian league but was eliminated in the group stage of the international finals in Japan. The returning field includes established organisations such as S8UL Esports, GodLike, and Revenant XSpark.

All matches for the PUACL 2026 India League will be broadcast live on the official Pokémon UNITE and Skyesports channels.
