ZOWIE, the esports-focused division of BenQ Corporation, announced it is now the official monitor partner for the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas. The multi-year collaboration ensures all professional matches at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles will be played on ZOWIE’s flagship gaming monitors.

The partnership announcement is timed to coincide with the beginning of VCT Americas Stage 1 on 10 April, when teams begin a five-week sprint toward the next global international event. To celebrate the launch, ZOWIE has also unveiled the Aim Challenge in collaboration with the organisation ENVY and 2023 World Champion MaxDemon1Mazanov. From now until 5 May, fans can participate in an online precision challenge to win high-end hardware or a VIP trip to the Stage 1 Qualifiers.

This move by ZOWIE is the latest chapter in what has become an aggressive global race for monitor dominance within the 2026 esports ecosystem. Just last month, LG Electronics renewed its decade-long ties with MIBR to keep its UltraGear line on the frontline of the Brazilian scene. Simultaneously, ASUS ROG has been expanding its footprint through title sponsorships for the NECC National Championships and a full-season deal with BLAST for Counter-Strike 2.

The competition for “on-stage real estate” extends across nearly every major region and title. Samsung has recently expanded its Nordic presence by joining Metizport as an official partner, while AGON by AOC has secured major collaborations with both Gaimin Gladiators and Method. Even brands typically associated with consumer television, such as TCL, are entering the fray by sponsoring Brazilian powerhouse FURIA.

As display technology becomes a critical competitive differentiator, ZOWIE’s alignment with VCT Americas serves as a high-profile validation of its hardware in one of the world’s most-watched tactical shooter leagues. At the StarLadder Major Budapest 2025, where ZOWIE was featured as an official partner, the company shared in an exclusive interview with The Esports Radar its strategy to stand out from competition, mentioning an “insider” philosophy to win players’ hearts.
