The esports division of data and odds provider Kambi Group, Abios, announced a multi-year partnership with Google. Under the agreement, Abios will provide comprehensive data coverage for League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Dota 2, and VALORANT to support and enhance a range of Google products.
The integration will feature real-time scheduling, fixtures, competitive statistics, and scoring information, allowing millions of fans to access high-fidelity esports data via Google Search and the Google App.

The collaboration marks a significant expansion of esports visibility on mainstream tech platforms. Abios, known for its enterprise-scale data feeds and odds solutions, will leverage its robust infrastructure to provide the “title-specific” depth that competitive fans require.
In a press release, Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi Group, described the deal as a “strong endorsement” of the company’s technical expertise. Marvin Brischke, EMEA Sports Partnerships Lead at Google, noted that the move is aimed at improving the “breadth of esports information” available to users as the industry’s global popularity continues to climb.
This integration mirrors recent moves by other tech and streaming giants to consolidate their esports offerings. Following and the recent expansion of data rights of Runestone with multiple esports companies, titles and territories by Runestone—including PGL for CS2 and Dota 2, SURGE Europe for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and NODWIN Gaming aiming at the Global South—the Google-Abios deal suggests a broader industry trend toward improving the way fans consume “second-screen” information.
By embedding tournament data directly into its core search product, Google is effectively lowering the barrier to entry for casual fans while providing veteran viewers with a centralised hub for competitive tracking.
