Gaming marketing agency GMD has secured a partnership with publisher Riot Games to spearhead commercial operations and brand sponsorships for both the CBLOL (Brazilian League of Legends Championship) and VCT (VALORANT Champions Tour) Americas in Brazil.
The agreement positions the Latin American agency to lead commercial sales, custom brand activations, digital content production, and fan experience projects across Riot’s premier competitive ecosystems within the region.

With more than a decade of experience across Latin America, GMD’s publisher client roster includes industry figures such as Ubisoft, Garena, Tencent, and KRAFTON. The expanded partnership comes at a key operational milestone for Riot Games in the region, as the VCT Americas Finals breaks its traditional Los Angeles residency to host its season-ending showcase at the Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo, Brazil, from September 4 to 6, 2026.
“This partnership shows Riot Games’ confidence in GMD and strengthens our ability to connect brands with some of today’s most relevant entertainment ecosystems,” said Lucas Patricio, Partner Director and Co-founder of GMD. “Each property has its own community, formats, and activation possibilities, allowing us to create projects that generate value for partners and fans.”
Through the deal, GMD will work alongside Riot to connect regional and international brands with local fanbases. On the domestic front, CBLOL’s commercial portfolio currently includes Red Bull, automotive brand KIA, and Brazilian food company Sadia as sponsors, representing a reduced roster compared to previous seasons when partners such as Heineken and Nestlé were on board.
Meanwhile, VCT Americas, across its wider ecosystem that also includes North America, maintains a global partner roster including Red Bull, Secretlab, Pulsar, Verizon, ExpressVPN, HP (featuring OMEN and HyperX), ZOWIE as official monitor partner, and Samsung as official home entertainment partner across VCT Americas and the LCS (League of Legends Championship Series).
