Mobile game publisher Supercell has unveiled an initial structural roadmap for the Brawl Stars Championship (BSC) 2027, introducing a two-tiered competitive framework featuring promotion and relegation, new international LAN events, and an expanded Club Partner Program.

The updated format aims to streamline competitive pathways from grassroots play to tier-one competition while establishing clearer commercial entry points for esports organisations.

Under the 2027 format, the global circuit will be split into a Top Level tier and a Challengers tier across two annual competitive splits. The Top Level will feature eight teams per main region, spanning East Asia, EMEA, South America, and North America, with Mainland China format details to follow, competing across 12-week regional splits.

Split 1 will culminate in the Brawl Cup, a three-day international LAN event where the winning team secures an extra World Finals slot for their region, while Split 2 leads directly into the Brawl Stars World Finals.

Beneath the top division, the Challengers tier will operate across 12 regional circuits, serving as the sole qualification pathway into the top flight. Challengers will feature open qualifiers, regional league play, and in-person Challengers Finals, where top-performing challenger teams will face bottom-tier Top Level teams in promotion and relegation matches to secure top-flight spots for subsequent splits.

From a commercial and publisher support perspective, Supercell is expanding its Club Partner Program for 2027, with a revised application process and updated program details set to launch on its event portal in the coming weeks. Additionally, the publisher is building an upgraded support framework for third-party tournament organisers to expand community-led events alongside the official circuit.

The structural overhaul builds upon a multi-year partnership established in December 2025 between Supercell and tournament operator BLAST. Under that deal, BLAST assumed ownership of the circuit’s commercial rights and production operations, delivering 32 broadcast days annually, new studio formats, and multi-million dollar prize pool support across the global calendar.
